Full tuition and partial tuition scholarships are available for both music and non-music majors for participation in ensembles.  All students who have been admitted to JSU and who are in good standing at the time of application are eligible to receive an ensemble scholarship.  Scholarship awards are based upon the qualifications of the student and the needs of the music department.

Scholarship Dates are February 5 & 6, 2010 and March 5 & 6, 2010

Anyone wishing to audition for a scholarship will need to register online when the above scholarship application links are live.

These auditions may serve as audition for:

  1. Scholarship application
  2. Admission into the Department of Music.  Formal admission into the Department of Music is required if you plan to major in Music or Music Education.  Prospective music majors must also complete diagnostic placement exams in basic music theory and piano which may be accomplished on the audititon day.
