Kimberly Cooper serves as the departmental secretary and performs administrative duties at the academic as well as financial levels, under the direction of the department chair. Mrs. Cooper has been employed by Jacksonville State University since 1999. She also served in a full-time clerical capacity for various departments from 1987 to 1992.

Mrs. Cooper is a 1984 graduate of Walter Wellborn High School and a 1985 graduate of Ayers State Technical College with a secretarial/stenographic diploma. She is married to Douglas L. Cooper and has two daughters, Meaghan and Amanda Wells. She loves to knit, crochet, garden and play guitar.
