Chapter Test suggestions.

The tests are multiple choice and matching.  The matching is taken from the key terms at the end of the chapters.  You will need to match words with definitions.  The matching will consist of anywhere between 5 and 20 in number.

You have a full week to get the test completed.  It will be a timed test, so be sure to study, because you won't have time to be looking up answers.  Also, be sure to take it early if at all possible allowing for problems with blackboard, Internet, and access to the test. Allow me to have enough time to respond to your email, if you do have a problem.

Listening Log Benefits

The Listening Log is listed here with the tests, because it is used to boost your lowest test score.  It would be a good idea to do one, because I will use the Listening Log to boost your lowest test score by 10 points.  

1. A partially finished Listening Log will also be used to boost the grade of your lowest test score.

In other words, I believe the listening portion of the course is important and I don't want to make it required, but I will make it worth your while to do it.
