State Membership:When you join MENC, you automatically become a member of your state music educators association, entitling you to all the benefits associated with membership at the local level.

The MENC web site features networks for band, chorus, orchestra, general music, technology, jazz, early childhood, research, and advocacy. Collegiate members are also provided with an online platform for issues relating specifically to the college experience.

  • be enrolled in an institution with an MENC Collegiate Chapter.
  • be preparing for a career in or have an interest in music education.
  • not be employed as a full-time music educator.
